Lucilyn: I think the biggest thing is whether a guide was recommended highly or not(edited)

not account age

"This worked for me" always gets people's trust

though of course the reason there's a ton of guides and not just one is that different approaches/mindsets make more sense to different people

I just have to wait for my .info account to age a few years so that people actually take me seriously

i’m not sure why you would worry for oeopke to treat uoj seriously. You would either help someone or not. All you can do is share your thoughts and hope it will help someone who resonates with it
to be honest i’m not sure how much value guides have in general. the longest it took me to help someone have a tulpa, even people struggling for months, was around 20minutes.
I think human contact is very inportant. I don’t think i could write down my method in a guide that would work for a person. I would probably need to write a guide for guides

I was joking. Usually people like Fourfiction, Glitch, and all the OG’s are taken more seriously because they’ve done this for years now
@ringgggg - jump
i think that’s a mistake, and to be honest to me it’s quite the reverse. People with more experience just believe in their methods stronger and probably don’t remember what it is like to develop a tulpa for the first time
It feels more like some bodybuilder talking about the specific techniques they used to get that way or a “get slim fast” Internet diet. In that regard I just want people to take it as they will

Lucilyn: I think as an "admin" it holds too much weight if I say our system doesn't like guides at all lol, but just take that as our normal-member opinion(edited)
3:38 PM
getting ideas from lots of people + finding what makes sense to you is best
3:39 PM
generally what clicks in your mind will always give better results than something that doesn't, even if others are saying it's great
Lucilyn: which is a big part of why we tell people not to worry about specifics so much, if you just try to figure things out for yourself after hearing vaguely about an experience you could have, usually it just works out(edited)

i agree and when i help someone provately develop tulpa or switch that’s what i’m trying to use
Leiko
i hope it doesn’t sound judgemental but in my view guides main purpose is to stroke the writer’s ego
from my experience it’s not as effective to help someone get a tulpa or switch on a public channel, on a private server with tupperbox it’s much easier and quicker
3:44 PM
it definitely gives you much less recognition that publishing a guide ir doing it publicly, but i don’t think that’s important
3:47 PM
people really just need nonjudgemental reassurance and understanding, which is not what a guide can give
3:47 PM
and exposing yourself to a few people talking about their views at the same time can be more confusing than helpful
well i dont really know sentience (it just happened one day at least in my expirience) but i do remember when i made her how i knew she was there(edited)
